History of Plastic Surgery

The history of cosmetic surgery can be seen from the ancient times. The work known as Sushruta Samhita of the famous surgeon portrays otoplasty and rhinoplasty.

Some of the cosmetic procedures contain risks. The word cosmetic surgery means the surgery that is planned to develop the appearance or cosmetics. Some of the types of cosmetic surgery involve abdominal etching, buttock augmentation, abdominoplasty, otoplasty, rhinoplasty and mastopexy.
