How is Abdominal Plastic Surgery performed?

An IV line is added into a vein in the arm to assure that the level of fluid in the body remains within the limits of health during performing the procedure. The patient is given anesthesia or a sedative to calm down. During this procedure, a small cut is made into the skin by the surgeon beneath the bikini line or in the navel and then a thin tube known as cannula is inserted into the fatty region. The cannula breaks the deposits of fat and makes the area shaped to the preferred size. Then the excess fat is eliminated using a strong vacuum which leaves the muscles, skin, blood vessels and nerves unbroken.
